River Forest Schools Designate Nov. 4 As "Cubs Day"
Wear your Cubs gear to school tomorrow for the festivities!

River Forest School District 90 is all about its home team, which is why it is dedicating tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 4, as “Cubs Day.”
“After 108 years, the Chicago Cubs have won the World Series,” Dawne Simmons, District 90’s communications coordinator, said in a statement. “Cubs fans and well-wishers throughout River Forest are basking in the glow of victory. District 90 salutes the Chicago Cubs and plans to acknowledge this historic event with our students and staff.”
Students, faculty and staff are being encouraged to wear their “Cubbie blue” and other Cubs gear to school Friday, Simmons said, to join in with the fun and celebration.
