'Shark Tank' Open Casting Call Coming to Chicago

Chicago, IL - Calling all entrepreneurs, small business owners and wanna-be sharks: ABC's "Shark Tank" is hosting an open call in Chicago.

The open call will take place June 13 at Studio XFinity, 901 W. Weed St. in Chicago. Numbered wristbands will be distributed from 9 to 11 a.m., and interviews will begin at 10 a.m.

Members of the casting team will listen as each person gives a one-minute pitch of a business, product or idea, just like on the show.

"Come prepared to wow and dazzle us," the open call website states.

Application packets for are available online and should be completed and brought to the event. Questions can be sent to Sharktankcasting@uamg.com.

"Whether you just have a fantastic idea, are a start up or already operating successfully and looking to expand, if you feel you have a lucrative business or product and could use financial backing, then 'Shark Tank' is just the show for you," according to ABC.
