Someone in Oak Park Just Won $150K — Is It You?

A local BP just sold a winning lottery ticket.

Someone in Oak Park just got $150,000 richer.

A gas station in the village recently sold a winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket for Wednesday night's drawing, a press release from the Illinois Lottery stated. The BP, which is at 300 W. Lake St., will receive one percent of the earnings — $1,500 — for selling the winning ticket.

The winner hasn't yet been identified, but Illinois Lottery reps said in the release they suggest the winner "immediately sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the lottery's five prize centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights."
