1. A candlelight vigil and resource fair will be held tomorrow in Scoville Park in honor of International Overdose Awareness Day. The event is sponsored by the Chicago Police Department, Oak Park Opioid Task Force and more community partners. (WGN)

2. The Takeout 25 initiative will soon launch as an official nonprofit. Founder and Oak Park trustee Ravi Parakkat says “we are building on our successful support of local restaurants to become something broader that is designed to outlive the pandemic.” Takeout 25 will bring 10 local restaurants to Barriefest in September. 3. Local student Talib Becktemba-Goss says he will continue to fight for equality in the Oak Park-River Forest school system and beyond. 4. The Circuit Court of Cook County website was breached last week, but their office says it “was very limited in scope and duration” and no one’s personal information was exposed. The site has been down for more than two weeks and could be down for three more to perform maintenance. (CBS)
