Tavi Gevinson Name-Drops Oak Park Hometown on ‘Jimmy Fallon’
The teenage fashion blogger extraordinaire appeared on the late-night talk show to discuss her new book, "Rookie Yearbook One" and teach Jimmy how to, uh, "b-face."

Oak Park’s own Tavi Gevinson, the 16-year-old fashion-blogging breakout prodigy, dropped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night to chat about her new book Rookie Yearbook One and her experiences since she began her journey as a celebrity fashionista at the age of 11.
And less than a minute into the five-minute interview, Gevinson gave her hometown a shout-out on national television. (Here's the video.)
“Where’d you grow up again?” Fallon asked. “Outside of Chicago?”

“I’m still growing up outside of Chicago!” Gevinson quipped, then name-dropped Oak Park.
