Three Recent Robberies Involved Group of Armed Men

A group of four or five armed men have robbed victims on the streets in in the Austin neighborhood.

The incidents took place at 4:45 a.m. Sept. 21 in the 5400 block of West Washington, at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 23 in the 200 block of South Laramie and at 8:50 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 5900 block of West Washington, according to Chicago police.

The men are between the ages of 15 and 25 with varying heights and weights, police reported.

Police are asking people to pay special attention to suspicious groups loitering in the area. Anyone with information about these incidents should call the Bureau of Detectives- Area North at (312) 744-8263,
