2. Village President Vicki Scaman nominated Cory J. Wesley to fill the vacant trustee position on the Village Board. He serves both the Oak Park Economic Development Corporation and the Southeast Oak Park Community Organization. 3. The Oak Park Public Library announced Joslyn Bowling Dixon as its next executive director. Bowling Dixon returns to Oak Park after nearly a decade serving libraries on the East Coast. She was appointed by the board of trustees and will begin the role Nov. 7. (OPPL)
