The robbers approached the clerk and implied they had a gun, demanding money from the register, according to police.

OAK PARK, IL — A Walgreens was robbed Monday night in Oak Park, according to police.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 6400 block of Roosevelt Road, police said. Two males entered the store, approached the clerk and implied they had a gun, demanding money from the register, according to police.

The pair fled in a gray hatchback sedan with tinted windows, heading south on Ridgeland Avenue, police said, adding the amount stolen was estimated to be $100.
