Water Main Break Shuts Down OPRF High School

Students were dismissed and the building was to be vacated by 10:30 a.m.

Oak Park, IL - All classes and after-school activities have been cancelled at Oak Park and River Forest High School on Tuesday after a water main break forced the school to shut off water in the building.

The water main is by the daycare playground near the tennis courts, and the water shut off leaves the sprinkler system, bathrooms and food service inoperable, according to a message from the high school.

Athletic practices, games and the Mr. OPRF competition are also cancelled.
