2. Illinois was undercounted in the 2020 census, the U.S. Census Bureau announced this week. The state actually reported its largest population ever, adding more than 250,000 residents over the last 10 years. “We need more people cheering for Illinois and fewer spelunking for misery,” Senate President Don Harmon of Oak Park said of the report.
