Thanksgiving Day is going to be a cold one, reports the National Weather Service, with occasional morning flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 26. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. It will be in the top 10 coldest Thanksgivings on record in Chicago. The Chicago area has failed to reach 30 degrees on Thanksgiving Day only 20 times since 1873.
