Know Before You Go: Orland's SummerFest Set For Fun Weekend June 14–16

The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce's hit event is back for a second year, Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Park welcomes back SummerFest, returning for a second go after a successful debut in 2023.

The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce's jam-packed weekend Friday, June 14, through Sunday, June 16 combines a carnival, live music, an array of dining options and a car show, at the 153rd Street Metra Station location in Orland Park.

"Last year’s debut SummerFest event was bigger and better than we could have imagined," said Chamber President Ramzi Hassan. "We anticipate another great event this year with some exciting new additions and something for everyone."

Entry is free. Credits for carnival rides must be purchased. Food and drink available for purchase on-site.

FRIDAY, JUNE 14

Carnival Opens! Rides include Vertigo, Zipper, Pharaoh’s Fury, Zero Gravity, Wacky Worm, Sizzler, Kite Flier, Krazy Kabin and many more. Ride credits are 33 for $5, 173 for $20, 242 for $35, 721 for $100. Credits will go on a wristband, $2 activation fee.

  • 1:30 to 4 p.m: Sensory Carnival Session: open for individuals with special needs.
  • 5 p.m.: open to the general public
  • 11 p.m.: closes

Live Music!

  • 5 p.m.: Andrew Scott Denlinger, with variety of rock and roll
  • 6:30 p.m.: Saving Grave, singing country music
  • 9 p.m.: Sparks Fly, the ultimate Taylor Swift Experience

SATURDAY, JUNE 15

Carnival:

  • 12 p.m.: Opens
  • 11 p.m.: Closes

Live Music until 11 p.m.

  • Noon: House of Music bands
  • 4:30 p.m.: Ramzi and the Loafers, ska/punk sounds
  • 6:30 p.m: Who Dat Dere, with greatest hits of classic rock, 80s, 90s and more.
  • 9 p.m.: Kashmir, with the best of Led Zeppelin

SUNDAY, JUNE 16

Carnival

  • 12 p.m.: Opens
  • 9 p.m.: Closes

Main Stage

  • Noon: DJ and family fun

Car Show

  • Noon: Registration at noon
  • 3 p.m.: show begins!

Live Music!

  • 3 p.m.: PriSSillas, with sounds of Zeppelin to the Stones, Dolly Parton to Johnny Cash, Blondie to 4 Non Blondes, Janis Joplin to Pearl Jam
  • 5 p.m.: Of Perception, authentic Doors tribute band
  • 7 p.m.: The Neverly Brothers, everything from Elvis to the Beatles

PARKING

On-site VIP and handicap parking is available at the 153rd Street Metra lot. Free parking is available in the neighboring Metra lot on Park Station Blvd. accessible from 153rd Street just past the main entrance of the fest. Centennial Park ballfield parking is just a short walk to the venue, as well.
