Orland Park Photographer's Work On Display In Three Galleries
Find Peter Bosy's work at the Orland Park Public Library, Bridgeport Art Center, and DeCaprio Art Gallery at Moraine Valley.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Artwork by Orland Park photographer and visual artist, Peter Bosy, is on display in three area galleries: Orland Park Public Library, Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery at Moraine Valley, and the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago.
At OPPL, 14921 S Ravinia Ave., visitors will see 17 photos that comprise the "Made by Hand," exhibit, which is a tribute to his father who worked with the pictured tools starting in the 1940's. Original tools including saws, wrenches, brushes and more, which are treated like abstract works of art and reveal the patina of well-worn tools used by a manual laborer. This exhibit is especially poignant during the month of June, when we celebrate Father's Day. This exhibit ends June 30.
At DeCaprio Art Gallery, 9000 W. College Parkway, Bldg. F, in Palos Hills, Bosy's detailed graphite pencil drawing entitled, "Celebrate," was selected to appear with several other art pieces in the annual Juried Community Art Exhibition. “Celebrate” took first place in the juried community art show that runs through July 31. The gallery summer hours are Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
