Suds And Screams Back At Haunted Car Wash In Orland Park
Tunnel of Terror returns to Tommy's Express Car Wash in Orland Park Oct. 27–29.

ORLAND PARK, IL — An Orland Park car wash is all geared up for the spooky season, set to transform into a sudsy and scary tunnel this Halloween.
Tommy’s Express Car Wash will bring its Tunnel of Terror to the chain's Orland Park location, 15819 Wolf Rd. Orland Park for just three days, Oct. 27–29.
Based in western Michigan, the company has more than 130 locations across the country; two other locations in Illinois will also participate in Halloween event. It's the Orland Park location's third year in the starring role.

The whole site will be shifted into spooky gear, with costumed employees lurking everywhere, ready to give customers a scare. The tunnel will glow with LED and strobe lights, setting the vibe for a good fright. Fog machines will cast an eerie feel in and around the building, said Manager Chris Kantzioris. Guests can tune into a radio station in their car, piping scary sounds through their speakers as they go for the ride.
Kantzioris is excited to see how people respond to this year's haunt—most of which is his design.

"It is a collaborative effort," he said, "but I’m the one who spearheads everything."New this year, visitors can expect to see "ghosts" in flight, with Kantzioris putting drones to a very specific, spooky use.
The scares will run Oct. 27–29, from 7 to 11 p.m. each night. The car wash is located at 15819 Wolf Rd., in Orland Park. Entrance is $20 per car, and comes with a #1 Works wash.
