In an effort to support the Greater Chicago Food Depository’s mission to end hunger in our community, The Bridge Teen Center is asking students to bring either a box of macaroni and cheese or a jar of peanut butter to the event to be donated to the food bank. These donations will be accepted in lieu of paying admission to the party.
This year’s event is sponsored by Meijer, Izze and Famous Dave’s. It will feature live music from pop/rock band Please Promise along with free food, t-shirts, games, prizes, and a midnight countdown. Last year, over 120 students attended the New Years Eve party, collecting gloves and hats for teenagers with cancer.
