Woman, 83, Killed In Kendall Township Crash: Sheriff
Two other people sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the Thursday afternoon crash in Kendall Township.

KENDALL TOWNSHIP, IL — One person was killed and two people sustained life-threatening injuries after two cars collided Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Ashley Road and Walker Road in Kendall Township, officials said.
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office said preliminary findings indicate a car was driving north on Ashley Road, south of Yorkville, around 2:17 p.m. when it entered the intersection with Walker Road and crashed into a westbound car.
The passenger in the northbound car, identified as Susan Guglielmi, of Yorkville, died in the collision, The Kendall County Sheriff's Office said. She was 83.

The drivers of both cars sustained life-threatening injuries and were airlifted to hospitals. Guglielmi had sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, officials said.
The intersection remained closed for about four hours while investigators processed the scene. The sheriff's office continues investigating the crash.
