19 Oswego D308 Seniors Commit To Fall Sports With Letters Of Intent

Three Oswego East High School students and 16 from Oswego High School signed National Letters of Intent this month.

OSWEGO, IL — Nineteen Oswego high school student-athletes signed letters of intent this month to play fall sports at the collegiate level, Oswego Community Unit School District 308 officials announced.

National Letter of Intent Signing Day has become a celebrated event as years of hard work culminate in the moment student-athletes commit to a verbal scholarship they received from their colleges. It's traditionally the first day that a high school student can sign a binding National Letter for a collegiate sport with a school that is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

In Oswego, three students from Oswego East High School signed National Letters of Intent on Nov. 6 and 16 Oswego High School students signed on Nov. 13.
