Froggy is a 1-year-old pug/beagle mix—known in the designer dog world as a "puggle".
Froggy was found as a stray in southern Indiana, and ended up at an overcrowded high-kill animal shelter. When he wasn't claimed by his owners, he made the journey up to Rover Rescue in Aurora to find his new home.
Froggy is neutered and weighs about 15 pounds. He got his name because he is a pro at "civil disobedience." When he doesn't want to walk somewhere, he will lay down on his belly with his back legs sticking out like frog legs.

He really is a funny little guy, and makes all kinds of cute little pug noises- snorts, grunts, and whimpers, so you'll always know how he feels! He is house-trained, never had an accident and sleeps in a crate at night.
Froggy will be available at a Rover Rescue adoption event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at in downtown Oswego.
