It appeared that she was not allowed to be a dog in every sense of the word, as she seems to always be asking if it is OK to do everything by constantly checking in or looking back at you when you tell her it’s OK to go play.
When Penny came into her foster home she wouldn’t walk at full height, get in or out of a car or go up and down stairs. The first week in her foster home she barely moved off of the big dog bed she sought for comfort.

No amount of coaxing could get her to move about the house freely with her foster brother and sisters. Soon Penny realized that only good things were in her future and she began venturing off the dog bed a few feet at a time and before you knew it, she was joining the pack in every little adventure.
She has made a wonderful transformation and is looking for a loving, caring, understanding home in which to thrive.
