Auditions will be held on Wednesday, October 5th from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Oswego Village Hall for the upcoming Holiday production presented by the Oswego Playhouse.
“A Child’s Christmas in Wales” is based on the classic poem by Dylan Thomas. directed by Daina Giesler and adapted by Jill Orr. It is the story of a boys favorite Christmas memories complete with silly aunts, crazy uncles, stupid cousins, a fire and snowball fights!
Show dates are December 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11. Readings will be from the script. Four boys, ages 11 – 13; two girls, ages 10 – 12; two uncles, ages 30 – 60; and two aunts, ages 30 – 60 are needed for the production.

The Oswego Playhouse is an all-volunteer based community theatre group that works through the Village of Oswego’s Cultural Arts Commission and under the direction of Daina Gielser, Artistic Director. Started in 2002, the Oswego Playhouse has performed a variety of shows including dramas, comedies and Shakespeare.
