The following announcement was provided by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
On Aug. 9 the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office responded to five reports of Burglaries to Motor Vehicles in the Shore Heights Subdivision in Oswego Township, Unincorporated Kendall County.
In these cases the offender(s) gained entry through unlocked vehicle doors. The offenders stole US currency, electronic devices, and other miscellaneous items.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind all of its residents to keep doors to your home and vehicles locked at all times. We also ask you to call in any suspicious activities to the police. We don’t want you to be the next victim.
Anyone with information on this or other crimes is urged to call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at (630) 553-5999. Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the offenders.
