
Oswego resident Carrie Quinn has been named the runner-up in the Our Town, Our Heroes program's special round dedicated to teachers. Carrie's friends and family cast more than 450 votes for her on DrivingtheMidwest.com.
Carrie was nominated by her colleague, Erik Aister, due to her special education work at Plank Junior High School, as well as her role as team leader for special education at the school and her dedication to several school committees. To thank her for her work in the community, Carrie will receive a new General Motors vehicle for one week.
