Eight members of the District 308 staff have been honored with the Those Who Excel Education awards program through the Illinois State Board of Education.
Those honored were:
- Todd Colvin, school administrator category
- Amanda Inglese (Thompson Junior High,) Early Career Educator category
- Dan Okoren (Oswego High School,) Classroom Teacher category
- Erin Raleigh (Grande Park Elementary) Student Support Personnel category
- Sandy Battaglia, Erika Mendez, Terri Orr and Mary McQuaid (all at Traughber Junior High) in the team category
