Edward F Siska, age 81, of Oswego, IL died Friday, May 11, 2012 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born February 7, 1931 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Matthew and Tillie nee Pryczak Siska.
Ed enjoyed playing the accordion in his own band, the Vibra-Tones, for over 25 years. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren, and in recent years, discovered a new interest, exploring the Internet using "the Google." He was an insurance agent prior to his retirement. He was a member of St Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL.
Ed is survived by his wife Marilyn nee Betenia (Whom he married on September 6, 1958 in Chicago) three daughters Vicki (Jim) Hegranes of Naperville, IL, Barbara (Tracy Shepherd) Siska of Forest Park, IL, Elizabeth Siska of Chicago, IL, a son Michael Siska of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren Quin Siska; Jamie, Andrew and Alec Hegranes; a sister Elaine Klimek of Park Ridge, IL, a brother Richard (Barbara) Siska of Matteson, IL and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the 1801 South Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass Oswego, IL. Cremation will take place.
