Hannah L Nieman Passes

Hannah L Nieman, age 100, of Montgomery, IL died Friday, March 10, 2012 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL.  

She was born July 26, 1911 in Monroe, MI the daughter of the late William Henry and Maud nee Ross Loy. Hannah was a member of St Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL, the Boulder Hill Hilltop Gardeners Club and the Entre Nous (bridge club). 

Hannah is survived by two daughters Carolyn (Peter) Daring of Land-O-Lakes, WI, Patricia (Richard) Smith of Pinehurst, NC; a son Philip (Joanne) Niemen of Orland Park, IL; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Philip W Nieman, three sisters and three brothers. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Y  1801 South Douglas Road  Oswego, IL.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St Anne Catholic Church  551 Boulder Hill Pass  Oswego, IL.  Graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:00

PM at St. James of Sag Bridge Cemetery in Lemont, IL.  Memorials may be directed to the Oswegoland Park District, 313 E Washington St  Oswego, IL 60543 to fund a memorial, to be determined, amongst the parks/pathways of the district.
