June Irene Campbell, age 87, of Oswego, IL died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family.
June was born June 20, 1924 in Atkinson, IL the daughter of the late John and Decil nee Sten Sassen.
She was owner/operator alongside of her late husband and other family members in the Boulder Hill Services.
She was a very active member, elder, prayer committee chairman of the First Presbyterian Church in Aurora, IL and past member of the Home Bureau.
Her survivors include four children John (Penny) Campbell, James (Judy) Campbell, Mark (Denise) Campbell, Mary (Wayne) Watgen; six grandchildren Wendy (Jeremy) Eubanks, Sarah Iovino, David (Jill) Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Jennifer (John) Ardelean, Michael Watgen; four great grandchildren Ashton Iovina, Jamie, Kailey and Travis Eubanks; three sisters Elsie (Norman) Duncan, Marie (Bill) Stenzel, Helen George; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray J Campbell, granddaughter Monica Campbell, two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will take place on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the 1801 South Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church 325 East Downer Place Aurora, IL with Rev Jeff Moore officiating. Burial will take place at the Oswego Township Cemetery Main Street Oswego, IL.
