Kelli Ann Kaczynski Passes

Kelli Ann Kaczynski (Kelli Ann Sanford), age 44, of Oswego, IL died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at her home surrounded by family and close friends after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born March 23, 1967in Joliet, IL. She was a graduate of Lincoln-Way High School in New Lenox, IL Class of 1985, she went on to further her education by attending and graduating from St Joseph College of Nursing affiliated with St Francis University in Joliet, IL where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

She was also involved in various nursing associations including the Illinois Coalition of Nursing Resources, and grass roots advocacy with the Illinois Hospital Association, being most passionate about lobbying for nursing and patient care issues  She was also the head of House Partnership at Rush Copley Hospital.

Kelli is survived by her husband Gary M. Kaczynski, (whom she married on October 12, 1996 at St Cyril Church in Joliet, IL), a son Ryan P. Kaczynski at home, sister Christine A (Rob) Korneta of Naperville, IL and her father Richard (Gene) Sanford of Manhattan, IL.

She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon A (nee Kochalka) Sanford, maternal grandmother Elsie A Kochalka and paternal grandparents Fremont R and Marie B (nee Bridges) Sanford.

Visitation will take place on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the  1801 South Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass Oswego, IL.

Cremation will take place at American Crematory.In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to “Educational Fund for Ryan” PO Box 665 Oswego, IL 60543-0665. For additional information, call 630-554-3888.
