Library to Celebrate National Gaming Day

National Gaming Day is Saturday, Nov. 12. Teens in grades 7-12 can drop by the Montgomery campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to play the video games Frogger and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

There will also be board games including chess and food and drinks for everyone. No registration is required. Sponsored by the American Library Association, National Gaming Day provides an opportunity for teens to play different types of games with other teens.

The Oswego Public Library District will also be launching a gaming collection for teens and children. Video games will be available to check out for one week.  Check our online catalog at http://www.oswego.lib.il.us for more information beginning in early 2012.
