Optimists Announce Annual Waubonsee Scholarship

Susan M. Kiley Memorial Fund Scholarship applications are now available through Oswego and Oswego east high school Student Services offices or by visiting the Optimist Club website at oswegooptimists.com.

Four $2400.00 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors from District 308 with plans to attend Waubonsee Community College this fall.  Please take advantage of this opportunity and visit your Student Services office, or contact Bill Powell at 630-554-2798 for additional information.  Applications downloaded from the website must be submitted to your student services office.

This scholarship fund was established 23 years ago as the result of the untimely death of Susan Kiley, a 22 year old Waubsonsee student who was killed in an automobile accident. The fund is a 501c3, and contributions to the fund may be tax deductible.  Don’t hesitate to take advantage of this great opportunity.
