Oswego East Wins Fifth Annual Cross Town Challenge

The following announcement was provided by Allied First Bank.

It came down to the very last game of the year, but Oswego East was triumphant and won its first Crosstown Challenge for the 2010-2011 school year. Four-time winner Oswego High School came into the spring season down two full points, and almost came back to win the Challenge with some impressive performances in April and May, but fell justs hort.

The Challenge has been hotly contested in the past few years. In fact, the 2009-2010 season ended in a tie. Had Oswego won the last baseball game of the season, this year’s Challenge would have been a tie as well.
