Oswego Senior Center Offering Healthy Habits for Successful Living

Starting on Wednesday, February 12th, the Oswego Senior Center will offer a 14 week health habits program for successful living.


 The program is designed for people overweight to design a plan through weekly meetings, education, accountability and encouragement towards a healthier and happier lifestyle.  Being overweight can bring on or complicate symptoms of disease and also can affect mental health.  Losing weight and developing healthy habits can extend one's life and make you more productive. 

The program will continue until May 15th from 10 to 11 am.

Collaboration on the effort is with Rush Copley Medical Center, Oswegoland Park District, University of Illinois Extension Program, Northeastern Illinois Area Ageny on Aging and the Kendall County Health Department.
