Robert S Wheeler, age 80, of Plainfield, IL died peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Bickford Cottages of Oswego, IL.
Bob was born September 8, 1931 in Aurora, IL the son of the late Charles and Dorothy nee Thompson Wheeler. Bob served his country honorably with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of the AuSable Grove Presbyterian Church in Na-Au-Say Twp.
Bob is survived by his devoted and loving wife Sharon nee Byro Wheeler and his daughter Ronda Wheeler.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard Wheeler. Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at the AuSable Grove Presbyterian Church 5021 Grove Rd (Corner of Grove/Wheeler Roads) in rural Yorkville, IL with Pastor Patrick K Demerath officiating. Burial will take place at AuSable Cemetery in Na-Au-Say Twp.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the AuSable Grove Presbyterian Church 5021 Grove Rd Yorkville, IL 60560.
