Tommy H Clingan Passes

Tommy H Clingan, age 64, of Oswego, IL died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at his residence, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born May 13, 1947 in Belmont, MS the son of the late Henderson and Rader Mae Bennett Clingan.

He was a truck driver for many years prior to his retirement and a member of Teamsters Local 673.  He also worked as a Realtor for Vic Popp, Century 21 Realty.

He is survived by his wife Candice nee Mieno Clingan, three daughters Lisa (Bernardo) Clingan-Cruz of Naperville, IL, Kristina Sawicki of Luka, MS, April Clingan of Aurora, IL, a son Steven Clingan of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren Victoria and Dominic Sawicki, Sofia and Isabella Cruz, and Summer Miller, brother William Clingan of Belmont, MS and sister Peggy Clingan of Dennis, MS.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Jackie, Bobby, and sister Rachel.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Monday, April 16, 2012, from 4 pm until a memorial service at 7:30 pm conducted by Fr. Frederick Peterson at the , 1801 South Douglas Road Oswego, IL.Cremation was accorded the wishes of the family.
