  • Re-roofs
  • Siding replacement (not including brick or stone)
  • Same size window replacements
  • Pre-built sheds

  • Irrigation systems
  • Water heater replacements

Submit an application for any of the above accessory permits on any Wednesday, before 3 PM; with everything in order, and your application will be reviewed and processed no later than 5 PM on the same Wednesday.

After verifying that you plan to pick your permit up on the same day, the permit applications will be prioritized on a first come, first served basis.

Should you choose not to remain at Village Hall or not to pick up the permit on the Wednesday in which it was submitted, the permit application will be ready for pick up by 9 AM on Thursday.

If you are hiring a contractor, the contractor registration will be verified when the permit application is submitted.

Contractors not registered may do so within the same day if insurance and bond information is provided, per ordinance.  The applicant must request the contractor to register.

Should the contractor not complete their registration per ordinance, we will not be able to release the permit until registration is in order.

In the case of fence permits, if a fence is being placed on the property line of existing neighbors, appropriate permission letters must be submitted at the time of application, per ordinance.

Should the letters not be included or submitted, B & Z will proceed as described, however, per ordinance, will not be able to release the permit until all permission letters have been received.

Also beginning in August, accessory permit applications submitted on any day but Wednesday, will be turned around 48 hours in non-peak months (October-April).  During peak months, (May-September), turnaround time will be a maximum of 4 days or 96 hours

While we do not anticipate this happening, should review and inspection demands begin to conflict with this commitment, turnaround time will be discussed with each applicant and if appropriate, an agreed upon turnaround time will be determined.
