Bullet Holes Found In Car, Tires Slashed: Oswego PD Asks For Video
Anyone who has doorbell camera or home video surveillance footage is asked to contact Oswego police.
OSWEGO, IL — Officers investigating a report of "armed threatening" and someone possibly waving a gun found a vehicle with bullet holes and slashed tires in the 400 block of Blue Ridge Drive, according to Oswego police.
The incident happened just after 11:30 a.m.
Police said a caller reported multiple people damaging windows and vehicles and possibly waving a gun before fleeing.

Police said they believed there was no threat to the public and called it an isolated incident, but asked residents to avoid the area since a portion of the road was blocked off.
Officials said while they were en route to the scene, they learned the offenders had fled.

Oswego Police are asking anyone who may have information, including doorbell or home video surveillance of suspicious people or activity, to contact Detective Sergeant Vargas at 630-551-7368 or email cvargas@oswegoil.org.
Information may also be provided anonymously to Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999; cash rewards are paid for tips leading to an identification and arrest.
