Brew at the Bridge To Become Oswego Ale-Gating Amid Pandemic
This year's event will not feature live music, but an Oswego Ale-Gating playlist will be curated for visitors to enjoy.
OSWEGO, IL — The popular annual Brew at the Bridge festival will be Ale-Gating this year amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Oswegoland Park District announced Thursday.
According to the event website, it will be held Sept. 19 and ticket holders can rent out a 10 foot by 10 foot space at Oswego's Prairie Point Community Park on Plainfield Road which can accommodate up to six friends or family members. Attendees will be encouraged to decorate their space for a chance to win two tickets to Oswegoland Barrel Nights at Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego.

The beer will be paired with servings of popcorn, and there will also be smaller specialty beer samples from a local Home Brew Club, along with a procession of seasonal vendors and tasty foods that will make their way through the ale-gating spots.
This year's event will not feature live music, but an Oswego Ale-Gating playlist will be curated for visitors to enjoy, according to park district officials. Commemorative shirts from the last five years of Brew at the Bridge, in short sleeve or long sleeve, will also be sold. The 2020 shirt, available in charcoal black, will also be for sale with the taglines "2020 Takes PersaBEERence" and "Can't Stop The Hop."

"We look forward to returning to Oswego Brew at the Bridge when it’s safe to do so," the organizers said on the website.
Pre-registration for this year's event is required. Ticket packages cost $35 and registration opens Aug. 25. More information can be found here.
