Cash and Electronics Stolen in Separate Residential Burglaries: Sheriff

Saturday, Oct. 5

Warrant, possession of cannabis

Nathan Stanley Delgado, 22, of the 0-100 block of West Anchor Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 12:27 a.m. at his residence on three active warrants oot of the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery Police Department and St. Charles Police Department, said the Sheriff’s office. After being taken into custody he was also found to be in possession of cannabis. He was given a citation for the improper lighting.

No valid driver’s license

Antonio Rosales, 20, of the 300 block of Spruce Street, Aurora, was arrested at 8:42 p.m. at Fernwood Road and Fallcreek Circle, Oswego and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license after he was stopped for operating a vehicle with only one headlight, said the Sheriff’s office.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred between Sept. 26 and Sept. 27 in the 0-99 block of Paddock Road. A GPS was taken from a vehicle parked on a driveway.

Residential burglary

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a residential burglary that occurred between Sept. 26 and Sept. 30 in the 100 block of Tuma Road, Yorkville. The victim reported finding the back door to his porch unlocked and not functioning properly and a large quantity of money stolen from inside the house.

Thursday, Oct. 3

Telephone harassment

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for telephone harassment that occurred between Oct. 1 and Oct. 2 in the 0-99 block of Osage Court. The victim reported receiving multiple unwanted calls from a female subject. The victim did not want to press charges, only wished for the offender to stop calling.

Hit and run

  • Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a hit and run that occurred at 6:55 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Longbeach Road, Oswego. An unknown subject struck a Ford Windstar parked on the street and then fled west from the scene.
  • Sherifff’s deputies took a report for a hit and run that occurred at 5:15 p.m. at a parking lot in the 0-99 block of Fernwood Road, Oswego. The victim’s vehicle’s rear bumper suffered damage from another vehicle while it was parked.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

Residential burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a residential burglary that occurred between 2:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. in the 0-20 block of Woodcliff Drive, Oswego. The victim reported that someone entered the residence through an unlocked door and took electronic items.

Warrant

Kenneth Daniel Rogers, 41, of the 0-99 block of Clay Court, Montgomery, was arrested at 7:41 p.m. at his residence on a warrant out of Kane County for traffic charges after deputies went to the address on an unrelated issue, said the Sheriff’s office.

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating criminal damage to property that occurred at 1 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego in which a vehicle was damaged.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred at 6:30 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Amesbury, Oswego that occurred following a domestic dispute. It was found that several items of property totaling approximately $44 had been damaged during the dispute.

Domestic battery

Darrel A. Thomas, 43, of the 7400 block of Galena Road, Bristol, was arrested at 11:01 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office.

Monday, Sept. 30

No valid driver’s license

Ryan Michael Jackman, 31, of the 2000 block of Village View, Yorkville, was arrested at 4:21 p.m. at Bridge Street and Schoolhouse Road for driving without a valid driver’s license, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for using a cell phone in a construction zone.

Battery

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for battery that occurred back on July 10 in the 800 block of West John Street at the Kendall County Courthouse. The victim reported that his landlord made contact of an insulting/provoking nature after an eviction hearing at the Courthouse, when the landlord shoved a 5-day notice down the back of the victim’s shirt.

Warrant, criminal trespass to property

Jasen John Phipps, 32, homeless, was arrested at 4:51 p.m. in the 1400 block of Light Road, Oswego, and charged with criminal trespass to property after an employee of the apartment complex called the Sheriff’s office on Phipps, who had previously been notified he was no longer welcome on the grounds, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also arrested on a arrant out of the Aurora Police Department for failure to appear for a DUI case.

Saturday, Sept. 28

Warrant

Jorge Garcia-Cardenas, 34, of the 2200 block of Countryside Avenue, Montgomery, was arrested at 9:11 p.m. at his residence on a warrant out of Kendall County for retail theft. He was found to have two additional warrants: failure to appear on resisting a police officer and failure to appear on a battery charge, from Aurora Police and the Kane County Sheriff’s office, respectively, said the Sheriff’s office.
