Christmas Tree Pickup In Oswego: See Collection Timeline

Residents who do not dispose of their Christmas tree before the pickup deadline in January will need to wait until April, officials said.

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego residents can place their Christmas trees at the curb for pickup through Jan. 9, village officials said.

Groot Industries, Oswego's waste collector, will pick up undecorated trees left at the curb on residents' regular garbage collection days. The pickup is free, meaning no waste stickers are needed.

All lights, ornaments, tinsel and decorations must be removed. Trees should not be placed in plastic bags.
