Oswego East High School grad finishes ISU semester with 4.0 GPA

Eli Bocacao, a first-year student at Illinois State University, finished his first semester with a 4.0 GPA and was honored on the dean’s list. Bocacao is in the honors program studying data science and computational mathematics.

Local student makes Southern New Hampshire University dean’s list

Kora Gerber, of Oswego, has been named to Southern New Hampshire University's Fall 2024 Dean's List. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences Fall 2024 Dean's List

Elle Tweedy, of Oswego, was named to the Fall 2024 University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences Dean's List. This accomplishment is a sign of Elle's hard work and commitment to learning.

More than 2,000 undergraduate students have qualified for the Fall College of Arts and Sciences Dean's List. Students on the Dean's List earned 12 or more credit hours as letter grades with a minimum 3.6 GPA for the semester.

University of Mississippi Announces Fall 2024 Dean's Honor Roll

The University of Mississippi announced students named to the Fall 2024 Honor Roll lists. The following local students were named to the Dean's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74:

• Chance Marlowe, of Oswego, IL, in the B.Accy. in Accountancy program.
• Grace Petasnick, of Oswego, IL, in the B.S.C.J. in Criminal Justice program.

To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

University of Mississippi Announces Fall 2024 Dean's Chancellor’s Roll

The University of Mississippi announced students named to the Fall 2024 Honor Roll lists. The following local students were named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00:

• Trevor Goodbred, of Oswego, in the B.S.B.E. in Biomedical Engineering program.
• Angelina Lee, of Oswego, in the B.A.E. in Early Childhood Education program.
• Aidan Poniatowski, of Oswego, in the B.A. in International Studies program.

"The remarkable students achieving Chancellor's Honor Roll are among the best and brightest at the University of Mississippi," Chancellor Glenn Boyce said. "I commend them for their hard work and dedication resulting in their outstanding academic achievements and this well-deserved recognition."

Lewis University Honors Local Students on 2024 Fall Dean's List

Just over 1,700 students were honored on the Lewis University Dean's List for the 2024 Fall Semester. To be eligible for this honor, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester with a grade point average of at least 3.5 and with no "D" or "F" grades.
