Coronavirus Cases In Kendall Co. Surpass 750: Health Officials
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, less than 1 percent of the population of Kendall County has tested positive for the illness thus far.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — In a news release on Tuesday, May 26, the Kendall County Health Department reported a total of 754 confirmed coronavirus cases in the county.
The total number of county residents to have died remained at 22, as of Tuesday, and 390 county residents were listed as in recovery from COVID-19.

As of May 18, the Kendall County Coroner's Office wrote in a social media statement that there have been six COVID-19-related deaths that actually occurred within the county's borders, with all other deaths reported by the county health department occurring outside the county.
More than half of the individuals to contract COVID-19 reside in either Oswego, according to Tuesday's county health data. Women account for 55 percent of all county coronavirus cases while men account for 45 percent, the data shows.

As of Saturday, May 23, there have been 30 reported cases of COVID-19 and seven deaths at Symphony At The Tillers in Oswego, five reported cases and two deaths at Hillside Rehab & Care Center in Yorkville, and four reported cases and three deaths at Association for Individual Development in Aurora, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health website.
