Coronavirus Cases In Kendall Co. Surpass 900; No New Deaths
County health officials said there are a total of 906 cases with 596 in recovery.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The total number of coronavirus cases in Kendall County have now surpasses 900, according to public health data.
The Kendall County Health Department said in a release Saturday that there are 906 cases with 596 in recovery. However, the number of deaths has remained at 22 for the past one month.
According to the Illinois Department of Public Health website, there are 132,543 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state with 6,308 deaths. The website data also states that less than 1 percent of the Kendall County population have tested positive for the disease so far and 0.02 percent have died of it.

Due to a rise in mental health issues during the pandemic, county health officials are also offering crisis and suicide prevention services that include assessment and immediate stabilization of acute symptoms of mental illness, alcohol and other drug abuse, emotional distress, and symptoms resulting from domestic violence, abuse, or neglect.
