Coronavirus Positivity In Kendall Co. Continues To Rise: IDPH
As of Friday, the positivity rate in the county is at 6.7 percent, which has increased over the last couple of weeks.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — Kendall County could see restrictions imposed on public gatherings as the coronavirus positivity continues to rise, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health. As of Friday, the positivity rate is at 6.7 percent, which has increased from the past weeks.
This comes after Gov. J.B. Pritzker issued the second set of new restrictions triggered by regional coronavirus mitigation metrics and as state public health officials announced an increasing number of Illinois counties have reached a COVID-19 "warning level."
Any region that sustains an 8 percent positivity rate for three days in a row or sees an increase in positivity rates and simultaneous decrease in hospital capacity will need to implement additional community mitigation interventions, the IDPH website states.
