Data Shows No New Deaths In Kendall Co. For 18 Consecutive Days

Less than 1 percent of the population has tested positive for the illness so far, according to county and U.S. Census Bureau data.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — In a news release on Thursday the Kendall County Health Department reported a total of 860 confirmed coronavirus cases in the county. The total number of county residents to have died remained at 22, as of Thursday, and 504 county residents were listed as in recovery from COVID-19.

The number of COVID-19 related deaths within Kendall County has not increased for more than two weeks, according to public health data.

From Wednesday to Thursday, there were seven new cases of COVID-19 reported from Kendall County, according to county health data. There were 18 new cases in recovery reported during that same time frame.

According to Illinois Department of Public Health data by ZIP code, there have been 656 people tested for COVID-19 in 60548 with 76 confirmed cases, 990 tested in 60545 with 151 confirmed cases, 1,147 tested in 60560 with 100 confirmed cases, 1,864 tested in 60538 with 292 confirmed cases and 2,056 tested in 60543 with 255 confirmed cases as of Thursday.

Less than 1 percent of the population of Kendall County has tested positive for the illness so far, according to county and U.S. Census Bureau data.

State health officials on Thursday announced 929 new cases of the coronavirus and 116 additional deaths from COVID-19. The stateside total now stands at 124,759 confirmed infections and 5,736 known deaths.
