“As the ninth largest and one of the fastest growing Illinois public school districts, special education will benefit from central administrative leadership within our organization," said Wendt.
There are approximately 2,237 special education students in Oswego in addition to the out-of-district special needs students placed in the district for various services, said Wendt. "It has become apparent central district leadership will help us deliver more effective services in a more efficient manner,” stated Dr. Wendt.
