District 308 Activities, Registration Cancelled Due To Weather

OSWEGO, IL — Due to the Ice Storm Warning issued for the area, all activities scheduled after 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 for Community Unit School District 308 schools and district offices are cancelled, school officials announced.

According to the district, the cancellations also include kindergarten registration, which will close at 5 p.m. The district said parents planning to attend between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 5 may attend any of the other scheduled registration dates.

The district announced in an email that schools, coaches and sponsors will be reaching out to parents and students regarding Tuesday night activities, which may end early or be cancelled. However, Kids Connection will take place as scheduled, the district said.
