District 308 Bus Routes Revised Due To 'Extreme' Staff Shortage
The new routes, which were created because of a lack of drivers and monitors, can be found on the District's website.
OSWEGO, IL — Community Unit School District 308 has released revised bus routes for the 2021-22 school year after several routes had to be altered due to a staff shortage.
"Our transportation contractors are experiencing an extreme shortage of drivers and monitors this school year," District 308 said on Facebook. "In response, several routes had to be consolidated."
Documents laying out the new routes have been uploaded to the District 308 website. They can be found here and are sorted by school, arrival or dismissal, and Oswego neighborhood.

Parents should learn their child's assigned route number, which will be posted in the bus window next to the service door. Their route number may change, according to the website, and some routes may have different bus numbers in the morning and the afternoon.
"If you wish to know the specific route your child has been assigned to, you may call the Transportation Center at 630-636-2999. Any questions or concerns should be directed to Transportation," District 308 said on its website.
