
Oswego's two high schools went from having no varsity head football coaches to both positions filled late Monday night.
The District 308 board voted to approve the hiring of assistant coach Brian Cooney as the new head coach for . Tyson LeBlanc, the former head coach of Curie Metro High School in Chicago, will take over the program.
Cooney, an OHS graduate, had been an assistant coach for 14 years and is a dean at the school. He takes over for Dave Keely, .

LeBlanc takes over for Mark Green, . Under Green's leadership, the Wolves won 14 games in seven seasons. The team was 2-7 this year and did not win a conference game.
LeBlanc led Curie Metro to a Chicago Public League championship in 2010.
