District Appoints New Principal At Hunt Club Elementary School

Hunt Club Elementary Assistant Principal Elisabeth Stoffers has been appointed to the position of principal at the school.

OSWEGO, IL — Hunt Club Elementary School Assistant Principal Elisabeth Stoffers has been appointed to the position of principal at the school during one of the school board's virtual meetings last month.

According to the release from the district, Stoffers began her career in education in 2005 as a language arts teacher at Mahomet-Seymour Junior High School in Mahomet, Illinois.

From 2011 until 2016, Stoffers served as assistant principal at Ball Elementary School in the Ball-Chatham School District located in Chatham, Illinois.

In 2016, Stoffers joined OSD 308 and Hunt Club Elementary School as assistant principal. "Stoffers' strong leadership skills and knowledge of the school will provide for a strong, positive and collaborative environment between staff, students, and the community," the release said.

Stoffers received her bachelor's of science degree in elementary education from Illinois State University, and her master's degree in educational organizational leadership from the University of Illinois.

"She is excited to be taking on the role as the principal of such a strong and supportive community," according to the release.
