Chicago English Bulldog Rescue’s Bully Bash

Chevrolet and its Driving the Midwest team will be supporting the Chicago English Bulldog Rescue’s annual Bully Bash fundraiser by sponsoring the “Treat Truck” challenge, an interactive guessing game for owners and their pets.

Attendees will have the chance to guess how many dog treats are in a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. The pet lover and his/her lucky canine companion who guess correctly will win all the treats and a week long loan of a new Chevrolet vehicle.

During the event, attendees and their English bulldogs will have the opportunity to participate in a rescue parade, costume contest, agility course and other fun activities. More than 300 people and their bulldogs are expected to attend.

Made up of 100 volunteers, CEBR has found new homes for nearly 300 dogs and counseled hundreds of families to help keep bulldogs in their homes. Chevrolet has supported the CEBR in 2011 by providing week-long vehicle loans for volunteers to rescue dogs and transport them to receive health care.

Chevrolet also hosted an adoption meet-up with the organization which helped find new homes for three dogs.
