Chevrolet is once again partnering with the Chicago English Bulldog Rescue(CEBR) and its troupe of adoptable puppies for an adoption meet-up, hosted on Saturday, May 14 at Ron Westphal Chevrolet. The event will bring CEBR volunteers, supporters and local community members together to learn more about the organization and meet dogs currently available for adoption.
“We are thrilled to continue our support of the Chicago English Bulldog Rescue by helping to spread awareness of the organization’s good work and assisting with the care and adoptions of dogs in need,” said Brian Goebel, General Motors North Central Region communications manager.
The adoption meet-up will give attendees the opportunity to meet members of the CEBR team to learn more about their work and visit with the dogs who are available for adoption. Attendees can also learn about the Our Town, Our Heroes program, which recognizes local heroes who are making a difference in their community and provides a chance to win a one-week loan of a new vehicle. Ron Westphal Chevrolet will be offering food and drinks and will make a donation to CEBR for each test drive taken. Attendees will also be able to see the all-new electric Chevrolet Volt, months before it is available in Illinois.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Chevrolet to host this special event,” said Molly Marino, Executive Director and president of the Chicago English Bulldog Rescue. “Chevrolet has been generous enough to donate the use of their vehicles to help us with puppy mill rescues and transport our special needs dogs to get the medical treatment they deserve. They have been an invaluable partner.”
